Life Drawing Sketches...

3D model
3D model of a biker I am working on. I know...how predictable of me, a Harley lover, to make this kind of character! Ha ha ha
I am still in the beginning stages of the model. I did a few quick sketches of the basic shape of him first. Then, I used the sketches as reference while beginning to sculpt the model in Maya.
I only have a few quick renders to show. When I post pictures of him a little further along in the process, I will set up the proper lighting, I promise.

Life Drawing Madness
All of the uploads from today's postings are life drawings from last year and this year. They are a mixture of gestures, short poses, and longer poses. Most of them deal with experimentation on colour, lighting and drapery...all the aspects we are concentrating on this year. We are now trying to not only be able to draw what we see, but incorporate our ability to analyze the figure and portray it in the following ways: structurally sound, use of good design elements, and a sense of character. The practice continues.....
